Coverage:

Coverage includes a family portrait session at the temple or at your house. This is usually arranged for the Thursday before the event - but it depends on the rabbi and on the family. Then coverage also includes the event on the Saturday, which lasts 5 hours. If needed, a portrait session for extra family members can be arranged for before the cocktail hour.


Photographing the Formals:

I'm very comfortable with posed photographs of individuals or family groups.
Indoors, I use portable lights with umbrellas that give me studio quality lighting anywhere. So therefore, the formal shots are well lit, and not just done with flash on camera when done indoors. Outdoors I try to use available light, with some flash on camera.

Black & White, and Sepia images:

I normally do change some images to B&W, and a few to sepia and do a few special effects, as part of the set of proofs I give to the bride. Since I shoot in the digital format, it is a simple matter to change any photograph to B&W for the album or extra prints, or to change any photo back to colour that was proofed as a B&W image.

Table photographs:

I do take table photographs on request of the client, but for specific reasons, I can unfortunately not guarantee that all the tables will be photographed. Firstly, the only time when everyone are seated at a table is usually when dinner is served - which I would then have to interrupt for photos. Many venues frown on this as well, and maitre'd's often stop photographers from doing this. I've also had guests become abusive when asked to get up for a table shot. In addition to all this, the more tables there are, the more daunting the logistics become of trying to get everyone at every table during the evening's proceedings, and still photograph the event.
That said, I really do try and complete the entire set of adult guest tables.
